NORTHWEST CHORAL SOCIETY
MEETING MINUTES
May 20, 2017
CALL TO ORDER:
The 2017 Annual Choir Meeting of the Northwest Choral Society was held on May 20th, 2017 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 630 S. Quentin Rd., Palatine, IL. The meeting was called to order at 12:32 PM by NWCS Vice President David Hitch.
CHORAL BUSINESS:
- Alan outlined the concert program for the next year.
- Noreen presented the profit and loss report for July 2016 to April 2017.
- Diane presented the December 2016 and April 2017 concert results
- David spoke about the artistic director search survey and asked the choir members to participate in the survey.
- David thanked Alan and Lori for their commitment this year.
NOMINATION OF BOARD MEMBERS:
- Nominated board members
- Noreen LaValle
- Kelsey Green
- Karl Dahlstrom
- Anne Jensen – Nomination from the floor.
- All nominated board members accepted the position. David Hitch made a motion to elect the nominated board members. The motion was seconded by Jamie Thompson. The motion passed.
ADJOURNMENT:
The Annual Choir Meeting was adjourned at 12:45 PM by a motion from Noreen LaValle and a second from Jamie Thompson. The motion passed.
