MEETING MINUTES
Meeting with Rodney from Gargoyle Brass
October 28, 2014
An informal meeting was held at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 1095 Dempster/Thacker, Des Plaines, IL, 7:00 PM. The following board members were present:

Also present: Alan Wellman, Artistic Director.
Lori Lyn Mackie, Collaborative Pianist
Rodney from Gargoyle Brass
Purpose of the meeting: to discuss our making a CD together with the Gargoyle Brass.
Decisions:
Our first recording session will be Saturday, December 6th at Grace Lutheran Church, Oak Park. During the warm-up for our evening concert, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, we will make two recordings of the Pinkham Christmas Cantata. Then at 7:30 PM our entire concert, the Pinkham and The Many Moods of Christmas, will be recorded.
Our next recording session will be sometime in July.
The cost of this first recording session will be $750.00. The Gargoyle Brass volunteered to contribute $500.00. Mary Jane Matecki made a motion that we contribute the remaining $250.00. David Hitch seconded the motion. By voice vote of ‘aye’ by the board members present, NWCS will contribute $250.00.
