If so, Northwest Choral Society wants YOU to audition!!!
NWCS’s artistic director, Alan Wellman, will hold auditions on Tuesdays July 15 and August 19 between 7:00 and 8:30 pm. Please call 224/585-9127, leave a message with your name and phone number and someone will return the call to set a mutually convenient appointment time. Bring a short prepared piece to sing. Auditions will be held at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 1095 Thacker Street (between Margaret St. and Jeannette St.), Des Plaines, IL.
If you previously sang in a chorus — high school, college or community group — and are looking for a great activity in which to participate, you are invited to these open auditions for the Northwest Choral Society. As a member of a group like NWCS, adult singers can enjoy the personal growth and satisfaction that comes from active participation in a high-level, four-part performing arts organization. You will appreciate NWCS’s intimate size and find the group friendly, supportive and fun.
NWCS meets on Tuesdays from Labor Day through the beginning of June in Des Plaines at St. Martin’s from 7:30 – 10:00 pm. Concerts are performed in venues in the greater Chicago area. NWCS also presents outreach performances with smaller ensembles during the season.
