Our first Concert of our 58th Season is on!
Northwest Choral Society proudly presents our 2023-24 concert season! Join us as we offer three incredible programs of choral music over the course of the coming year – music that is sure to move your soul and enliven your spirit! On Sunday, November 12, we’ll sing a program entitled “Voice & Verse”, which is centered around music that celebrates the almost magical union of words and song; on Sunday, December 17, we’ll celebrate the holidays with some of our favorite music of the season at “A Northwest Christmas”; and on Sunday, May 5, we’ll celebrate Spring with “Flower Songs”, a program exploring choral music about things that grow, featuring Vincent Persichetti’s 7 Flower Songs for chorus with string quartet as well as Benjamin Britten’s beloved Flower Songs for unaccompanied chorus.
A mainstay of the suburban Chicago choral community since 1965, Northwest Choral Society believes music transforms our lives, develops creativity and musical expression, and unites all people into a community. We draw upon singers from the Greater Chicago area with the purpose of performing a diverse repertoire of the highest caliber for the joy, enrichment, and education of our membership and our audiences.
