MEETING MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER:
The October Board Meeting of the Northwest Choral Society was held on October 11th, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church at 302 N Dunton Ave in Arlington Heights. The meeting was called to order at 6:34 PM by NWCS President Penny Perles. The following board members were presen

MEETING MINUTES:
- Meeting minutes for the September 2022 board meeting were presented by Angela Carlson. Diane Szuberla made a motion to approve the September 2022 meeting minutes as written. Marci Watts seconded the motion. The motion passed.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
- Noreen LaValle presented the treasurer’s report for September 2022. Cash disbursements total $1,650.00. Cash receipts totaled $1,727.11. Our regular account now has $12,033.50. Including petty cash, our final total was $12,068.50. Mary Jane Matecki made a motion to approve the September treasurer report as written. Diane Szuberla seconded the motion. The motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS:
- NWCS Spring concert will be April 30th at First Presbyterian Church.
- Hilary submitted the Illinois Arts Council grant and $1,700 was received by NWCS.
- The Annual Support Fund will be moved to January as a part of the spring concert preparation.
- The December concert book will need to be to the printer by Nov. 28th.
- No posters will be printed this year. The electronic versions will be sent out for virtual advertising on Facebook, Instagram and the NWCS web banner. Choir members can print out the poster directly to put up at physical locations.
NEXT MEETING:
- Our next full board meeting will be 6:30 PM Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 at First Presbyterian in Arlington Heights.
ADJOURNMENT:
The October Board Meeting was adjourned at 6:54 PM by a motion from Noreen LaValle and a second from Mary Jane Matecki. The motion passed.
