Of the many sources of inspiration to which humans have turned over the course of our existence, few can rival the immense splendor of the night sky. Stars, planets, our moon, the natural stillness that follows the sun’s daily departure – there’s a romance, a mystery, a timelessness accompanying the nighttime that seems to disintegrate each morning with the first rays of sunlight. NWCS is excited to explore these ideas with “Stardust”, a concert program of choral music about stars, planets, and the night sky. Repertoire includes music of Melissa Dunphy, Erik Esenvalds, Jonathan Dove, Eric Whitacre, Johannes Brahms, and more. Venue TBA
