Celebrate the season of Spring with Northwest Choral Society as we present “Flower Songs”, the final offering of our 2023-24 concert season! Repertoire will feature Benjamin Britten’s beloved Flower Songs for unaccompanied chorus, as well as the rarely-performed 7 Flower Songs of Vincent Persichetti and Jake Runestad’s Flower into Kindness, which features the chorus joined by a string quartet. Music of Edward Elgar, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Libby Larsen, and others evoke images of flowers and growing things as we move through this season of rebirth!
